Each card payment is recorded against the right invoice as it happens. A part payment keeps its real balance, and reminders go out in one batch you review, skipping anyone who has paid.

Who counts and how rates apply
An active member is a person who held a paid membership with you for at least 7 days in the month, counted once however many of your locations they use.
Not counted: staff, owners and admins; day-pass and drop-in guests; event attendees and ticket buyers; guest room bookers from the directory; former, pending and cancelled members; unfilled seats on a team plan; comped memberships up to 10% of your count.
Each rate applies only to the members inside its band, so the 101st member costs less than the 21st and growing never triggers an upgrade. Past 2,000 members the same rates keep running, with no contact-us wall.

Kommonz takes 0% of what your own members pay you. The 2% applies only to guest bookings and tickets from the public directory.

Asked at reception
Are the member apps native?
Yes. Kommonz ships native apps, not a wrapped web page, for booking rooms, RSVPing to events, opening supported doors, messaging and viewing membership, on the same backend as the web app. Get them on the App Store and Google Play.
Can we use our own branding?
You can customise your web portal with your logo, colours and fonts. Members use the shared Kommonz apps for iOS and Android; these are not separately published apps under your own brand.
Where is our data hosted?
On a server we run at Hetzner in Germany, in the EU. Each space’s records are tied to that space, and database row-level security and API permission checks keep each space’s data separate.

What is the 2% for?
Only on guest bookings and event tickets that reach you through the public Kommonz directory, where we brought the demand and we settle the money. Kommonz takes 0% of what your own members pay you.
